| BREAKING: Plane crashes in Las Vegas - smoke rises above city Local press indicate the plane may have crashed after taking off earlier today. It is believed the plane caught fire soon after taking off and the pilot was forced to eject from the aircraft. Consultancy group and security experts Strategic Sentinel said on Twitter the plane had suffered "critical engine failure".
